Why would one want to install IE on linux? I thought one of the reasons for upgrading from Windows to Linux was to get rid of IE and the "Lookout Express"? -turgut On Mon, 15 Dec 2003, Ben Edwards wrote:> Been trying to install IE 6 on wine but having a few problems. I was successful in installing IE 5.5 using wine (and a cd that contained all the CABS I needed) however when I run it, it doesn't render any web sites. All the buttons etc work, but when I type a URL in the address bar, it stays blank white.
