wine users - Jan 2004 - Wine installation

I installed the rpm  wine-20031212-mdk.i586.rpm on my Mandrake 9.0 
system.  When I try to initialize it , I
get this message; failed to initialize /lib/i686/lib.so.6 version 
'glibc_2.3 not found.(Required by /usr/lib/wine/wine/ntdll.dll.so)
                                                           Any help 
would be appriciated.

Please wait one day or two,
binary packages for wine 20040121 are about to be released.

Note that if you have Mandrake 9.0,
you should use a package built for glibc 2.2.

Since we only provide packages for glibc 2.3,
you should try the source package which will be available at
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=6241

We don't have Mandrake 9.0 RPMs, and don't currently have any plan of
making
them. You should upgrade to glibc 2.3 (Some upgrade RPMs are available on
Mandrake ftp mirrors), or better still to Mandrake 9.2, as 9.0 is badly bugged
(Especially the kernel).
