I am trying to install Internet Explorer 6, SP1 on my Redhat 9 laptop, with 20031212 of wine. I have a Windows XP system that I have been copying DLLs from as I run into problems. Unfortunately, my most recent error is: Unhandled exception: unimplemented function kernel32.dll.QueueUserWorkItem called in 32-bit code (0x40323058). In 32-bit mode. The wine user documentation says NOT to replace kernel32.dll. Can I get where I am trying to go from here? Thanks, Mike Crowe

Try to get them from a win9x system.> Unfortunately, > my most recent error is: > > Unhandled exception: unimplemented function kernel32.dll.QueueUserWorkItem called in 32-bit code (0x40323058). > In 32-bit mode.Typical problem with XP dll's. No need for a bug report. Rein. -- Rein Klazes rklazes@xs4all.nl

Unfortunately, > my most recent error is:1. Don't copy DLLs from Win XP. They are known mostly not to work! 2. Start over with a new .wine. 3. Your version of wine is good for ie6. 4. You need the ie6setup.exe from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/search.aspx?displaylang=e 2. Go to Frank's Corner and use their instructions. Use method 3. http://frankscorner.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=Sections&file=index&req=viewarticle&artid=49&page=1 Regards Joachim -- "Never touch a running system! Never run a touching system?
