wine users - Jul 2004 - Can wine recognize linux devices?

Question, I have a video conferencing app that is windows based and I have
been able to get running on wine. However, the app can't find a camera
device and I currently have a linux driver that works for my camera
(spca50x). I believe it is also possible to get this driver for windows if I
need to. However, my final goal is to get the windows app running under wine
and using the video camera. So, I would really appreciate it if someone
could let me know if this is possible or simply a pipe dream.

No answer, but for clarification this is a USB camera?
