Hi, I am using wine-20050111 with Access 2000. When I start the Access application the switchboard (opening screen with buttons) is minimized. I can drag the window bigger and everything works fine. But when I maximize the switchboard with the window button, Access "hangs". In the console these messages are repeated every time: fixme:hook:NotifyWinEvent (32773,0x20078,159,0)-stub! fixme:hook:NotifyWinEvent (32773,0x2005e,7,0)-stub! fixme:hook:NotifyWinEvent (32773,0x20078,159,0)-stub! fixme:hook:NotifyWinEvent (32773,0x2005e,7,0)-stub! When I press ctrl-c I get this message everytime: err:syslevel:_EnterSysLevel (0x778ef8a0, level 2): Holding 0x779df5e0, level 3. Expect deadlock! Changing resolution, and change the different X11drv options in config make no difference. Crossover office shows the same behaviour What can be wrong? Rob Btw access is always starting in a smaller window (I mean not maximized) is there a way to start access maximized?

How do I get it or is it part of your application? Regards Joachim -- "Never touch a running system! Never run a touching system? Never run a touchy system!!!"

But now I know what a switchboard is ;-) Did you install Office 2000 with WineTools? Regards Joachim -- "Never touch a running system! Never run a touching system? Never run a touchy system!!!"

[Wine]strange window behaviour with access 2000
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all, ~ I also had problems with wine-20050111 (Slackware-10 package) and Access. When I tried to search in a field out of a data entry form it froze in Wine-20050111, which didn't happen with Wine-20041201 - so I downgraded again, as I didn't have time to investigate.
