Hello. I have gentoo live ebuild for libtsm, which is hosted at www.freedesktop.org: https://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/kmscon/libtsm/ https://cgit.freedesktop.org/~dvdhrm/libtsm Both project and gitweb pages are accessible via https, but this is not about cloning. Trying this command: $ git clone https://people.freedesktop.org/~dvdhrm/libtsm i get error: fatal: repository 'https://people.freedesktop.org/~dvdhrm/libtsm/' not found Since http is unreliable, it is preferred to clone from https instead of git, for which there is no ssl version today (something like gits or sgit). Would be great to have some ssl-cover for freedesktop git read-only acces too.
