Hi all, I've been using DC++ for some time now without much trouble, but now i wanted to use it's active mode (file-settings-Connection_settings) I've entered the correct IP and port, just as i did in windows. Then i restarted DC++. DC++ then gave me a messagebox saying: "Port xxxx is busy, please choose another one in the settings dialog, or disable any other application that might be using it and restart DC++" I tried some different ports, but that didn't change anything. Wine gives me the following messages in the console, from the moment DC++ is started to about 5 seconds after the messagebox I don't have any confguration files in my .wine directory, only 3 .reg files and the links in the .wine/dosdevices directory. I've looked at the sample config file in the source tree, but there's no option like "allow incomming connections" or something like that. Is it possible to let DC++ accept incoming connections? [Wine]wine20050310 DC++ 0.670 -Is Active mode possible?
Hi!
Please verify that after You exit from DC++, it really terminates. At my
machine, it NEVER terminates, just closes the window, and I should
killall -KILL wine-preloader to get rid of it.
Of course, while this "hidden" DC++ is running, another one cannot
bind
the port You've specified.
I'm using active mode in DC++ 0.670 without any troubles.
