met a problem. When I record a sound with the following Record application

[|maxduration] [|option]) </strong></em></p><p>For
example: record (filename:wav, 0, 5,)</p><p> How can I detect if
there is a sound or not, because I want to do a condition gotoif (.....) if
there is no sound  detected.</p><p>Is not the silence considered as
a noise?<br>If somebody met once this problem to help

[asterisk-users] Detecting sounds while recording

Hello bro,

Set maxduration equals to silence and then check if the recorded file
exists with something like this :

GotoIf (
$["${STAT(e,/var/lib/asterisk/sounds/${RECORDED_FILE)}"="1"]?3:7
)
