Pkg exim4 users - Oct 2006 - Broken exim4-config (4.63-7)

Thanks for your quick response. I am sending you the config files off the list
since one of them is 433 lines. We can later share to the list whatever is
relevant to the problem resolution. I can send the files to anybody else who is
interested too.

Indeed it is. As soon as I could see troubles with the upgrade I moved
/var/log/exim to keep it in /var/log.exim.safe. Did the same with
/etc/exim4.safe.

Silly question, is there any "flag" to make dpkg rebuild the
directories?

So there is no /var/log/exim4 at the moment? That, of course, broke
exim. Create a new /var/log/exim4 as Debian-exim:adm 2750.

you can try reinstalling the packages, but I don''t know off-hand
whether this is going to work.
