Dear All, I just received the new SSL certificate for llvm.org. I'll be figuring out how to install it and then install it. The actual installation will require restarting the web and Subversion (SVN) server. As I expect it to be quick, I won't be announcing it on the lists, but if you have an operation interrupted, this will be the reason why. Regards, John Criswell

[LLVMdev] [cfe-dev] Downtime for Installing New Certificate
Dear All, An update on the certificate: When I installed the new SSL certificate, it did not work. Provided that I've used the openssl command correctly, it appears that the new SSL certificate that I received does not match any of the private keys on the server. I've contacted our IT people to see which private key they used to generate the certificate request. Hopefully they can provide that key to me. I'm going to shut down the web/SVN server now and try the new certificate one more time to make sure I haven't goofed something, but right now, it looks like we're stuck with the old cert. I'll send email when I'm done so that everyone knows the server will be up. [LLVMdev] [cfe-dev] Downtime for Installing New Certificate
Dear All, I've double-checked the log files, and the certificate doesn't match the private key. Services are back up with the old certificate. I'll keep the list posted on progress.
