llvm dev - Jun 2009 - [LLVMdev] How do I force a complete build ?

How do I make 'make tools-only' do a complete build, I tried
'-B' flag but that seemed to trigger complete reconfiguration of every
makefile, and takes ages.

Ah :-

make clean
make tools-only

The tools-only target does not seem to be in the LLVM Makefile Guide in the
listed Targets.
