Hi, Here is a fairly simple question. I currently use the version of SciTE that comes with the Ruby windows installer, and it works a treat. I would like to switch to FreeRIDE, if I can figure a way to alter the settings for the editing component. Specifically, I''d like to turn off indentation guides, because I find them uber ugly. Is there anything like SciTE''s .properties files for changing editor settings? I had a brief look in the Databus Inspector, but in that brief look I didn''t find anything equivalent. I''d also like to be able to not use "monospaced font". The default setting in Scite of using slightly different fonts for class names, comments etc., as well as just different colours makes code easier to read, IMHO. How would I do this? Thanks, Matt (I sent this email before I subscribed, I''m resending in case it didn''t get through)

To do what you want, take a look at these files: ....\freeride\plugins\rubyide_fox_gui\fxscintilla\global_properties.rb ....\freeride\plugins\rubyide_fox_gui\fxscintilla\ruby_properties.rb Curt
