llvm dev - Nov 2008 - [LLVMdev] python: Symbol `__gxx_personality_v0' causes overflow in R_X86_64_PC32 relocation

I tried building a bunch of my python modules (which compile to shared
libraries) using llvm-c++ instead of gnu c++.  When the program runs, I see
these messages:

python: Symbol `__gxx_personality_v0' causes overflow in R_X86_64_PC32
relocation

Ideas?
