Cruisecontrolrb users - Apr 2007 - Ability to disable smtp tls

Would you make an option to disable the TLS attempt for the
action_mailer_tls plugin?  For mail gateways that don''t support
''STARTTLS''
it throws an exception and doesn''t fall back to non-tls.

I commented out the require_dependency in the
vendor/plugins/action_mailer_tls/init.rb to work around the issue, but a
config switch would be great.

I''ll second this suggestion.  On my config I resorted to creating a  
gmail account just so I could get around this issue.  I was faced  
with the option of installing and configuring a cert for postfix,  
which seemed a bit onerous.  For a localhost connection that has no  
authentication requirements I can''t see any real value in using TLS  
to encrypt the payload.
