Hey, was just thinking about trying Lua out but I noticed there's no bindings packaged for Debian. It's shipped with the rest of the bindings source and I've long relied on Perl package. Why is that? Thanks.

If you're interested in working on it, that'd be great. Otherwise I'd suggest opening a wishlist bug (either in xapian's trac or the Debian BTS). Cheers, Olly

Anyways, Debian bug opened; don't think I'll have time to deal with packaging or figuring out Lua. https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=916189
