Hello, I am using Fedora 20. I had installed samba-client-4.1.6-1.fc20.x86_64 on a Fedora machine (this package was not installed previously on this machine). I added one user, root, by: smbpasswd -a root New SMB password: Retype new SMB password: Added user root. I can see this user by: [~]#pdbedit -L root:0:root Now, when I try to delete that user, I get an error: smbpasswd -x root Failed to delete entry for user root. Any ideas why is it so? It seems like a bug. Regards, Kevin
