I'm posting here because I was told that the maintainer of the GPLPV Drivers, James Harper, usually checks around. I'm trying to get running a WXP x64 SP2 DomU for testing. Based on the wiki, the first thing I did was a NET Framework 3.5 install (As GPLPV Drivers need it according to Wiki), then tried to install the GPLPV Drivers. As far that I googled around, I should use the W2003 x64 ones. Trying to install either the classic gplpv_2003x64_0.11.0.357.msi or the newer ejbpv_2003x64_1.0.1100.msi fails at the very last moment (When the Status bar is fully blue) with a curious error message box that says: "There is a problem with the Windows Installer package. A script required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor". The most I could do was extracting the MSI file with msiexec then installing the Drivers manually from Device Manager, but I'm not sure if that approach is correct compared to a out-of-the-box installer.I also googled around. As it seems that WXP x64 is anything but popular, I don't really know if there are other people with issues. So far, I saw a xen-users post from some years ago claiming that the GPLPV Drivers version 0.8 worked on WXP x64, but nothing else. And those Drivers aren't available anymore on the meadowcourt.org archives. Would need confirmation if someone else got them working on WXP x64 SP2, or if James Harper can take a look Thanks in advance.. _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xen.org http://lists.xen.org/xen-users
