Ocfs2 users - Oct 2014 - Cant stop o2cb - Unable to stop cluster as heartbeat region still active

Hi all,

I am trying to shut-down the nodes in our cluster, but two of the fourteen nodes
will not stop OCFS, returning the error "Unable to stop cluster as
heartbeat region still active"

I'd like your help in identify why this is, and how to fix it.

Using RedHat 4.8 and ocfs 1.2.9

# /etc/init.d/o2cb stop
Stopping O2CB cluster UATocfs2: Failed
Unable to stop cluster as heartbeat region still active

# modinfo ocfs2

There are no mounts, either in /proc/mounts or from mtab

# cat /proc/mounts | grep -i ocfs
# mount | grep -i ocfs

On one of the nodes with the issue it only shows a single entry for heartbeat
