So, while I'm aware of /etc/shorewall/rules TIME limiting abilities, I'm interested in rtrules which apply at times of day. For example, say from 2am until 8am I want to route to a particular address through my second ISP but during 8am until 2am I want to route that same address through my first ISP. I realize that there is not going to be any built-in ToD functionality for Shorewall to leverage here like it can with netfilter and access rules, but this is something that could be achieved using cron for example. Indeed, I could easily enough set up my own cron job to simply manipulate the ip rule list as I need but I thought it would be nice if Shorewall did this for me based on ToD specifications in rtrules. Thoughts?
