Device 0 (vif) could not be connected. /etc/xen/scripts/vif-route failed; error detected
Hello, I set up the XEN Routing like described on: http://www.virtualizor.com/wiki/Xen_Routing I'm running CentOS 6.5 x64. In a virtual machine with CentOS 6.5 it worked without any problems. I get this error: Device 0 (vif) could not be connected. /etc/xen/scripts/vif-route failed; error detected Any ideas? Thanks Regards Marius _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xen.org http://lists.xen.org/xen-users

I thought xend and xl from 4.2 onwards would pick up and log that string too, I don''t know which you are using or on what version. If that doesn''t help then my usual tactic is to add near top of the hotplug script: exec >>/tmp/hotplug.log 1>&2 and then have a poke and try and figure out what is going wrong, looking for failed commands etc. Ian.
