Anything other than posting to the xen-devel list was inappropriate behavior. It''s not our job to help you with your project and hold your hand. If you can''t read the xl man page or do a Google search to figure out how to set the weight, why do you expect us to think you''re going to be able to improve the scheduler -- one of the most complicated and difficult parts of Xen? Try reading this page and see if it helps you. http://wiki.xen.org/wiki/Asking_Xen_Devel_Questions -George

Ok, I intend change weight in per period of algorithm Credit_2 by formula myself, But I don''t know where change !! I read code Credit_2 But yet I''m not sure where change :-( ... then I should change code algorithm for improve Credit_2 ... are you know where should change?? Adel Amani M.Sc. I''m sorry to be blunt, but if that''s the best question you can ask, then either you haven''t really made an effort to come to grips with the code yourself, or you''ve made the effort and are still completely lost. If you haven''t made the effort, there''s no reason for me to make an effort. And if you have made the effort and are still this lost, I''m afraid there''s not much I can do for you. -George _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xen.org http://lists.xen.org/xen-devel

Unfortunately nobody can help me here; I want to set weight in per period of migration. I don''t know which function must be changed in changing weight and percent of PCPU to VMs. which function must be changed? function "burn_credits(...)" or "csched_dom_cntl(...)" or "csched_runtime(...)" or "csched_schedule(...)" ??! Hello Mr Faggioli I read this article: "Optimizing the live migration of virtual machine by CPU scheduling".In this article weight was changed and the result was better. Now I want to do this article and make it better. I don''t know which credit (Credit or Credit2) is used in this article. would you please help me? Adel Amani M.Sc.
