Fontconfig - Jan 2006 - LSB Specification 3.1 - fontconfig

Hi,

We have a draft specification of the LSB 3.1 Release which includes the
fontconfig library ready. The specification is part of the
Graphics-Extensions book which again is part of the encompassing
LSB-Desktop bookset.

It would be great if you guys could have a look and review it.The spec
includes the interfaces selected for standardisation (based on keith''s
suggestions) and the 3 fontconfig commands (fc-cache,fc-list, and
fc-match)

As a first comment, Xft uses the macros exported in fcprivate.h, which
makes these a part of the public API.

This is probably a consequence of exposing gratuitous functionality
across both the fontconfig and Xft APIs, but at least these macros
aren''t exposing any internal data structures.
