Ever since I started using compiz I've experienced strange issues on
upgrades. What happens is that compiz and gwd start correctly, but compiz
fails to update the window decorations. Interestingly the problem seems to go
away whenever I run the following:
$ gconftool-2 --recursive-unset /apps/compiz
Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone know of a fix? Any pointers on
where I could start to investigate further?
