compiz - May 2007 - Matrox G450 and other matrox chips - do they work with compiz?

Hi,
can you please tell me if Matrox cards/chips have support for compiz,
or vice versa; does compiz support Matrox chips/cards?

I think that most matrox cards are missing support for some kind of
non-power-of-two textures, which is something that compiz requires.
