Hi All, I have a bunch of Linux QoS, VPN, Bandwidth Management, Squid Proxy (and the list goes on...) questions. As an utter newbi to Linux I find many of the terms (CBQ, HTB, ippp3, qdisc, dport, tcng, wrr, tc, WFQ, ...) leave me wondering how a simple packet ever makes it from one side of my computer to the other let alone around the world! This is just a quick note to say THANKS to all those who provide THIS fantastic resource. I''ve seen most of the questions I have answered already. I''m sure that are others like me who don''t even feel the need to ask questions. The answers to many of the challenges that face us as we take on the challenge of user to user QoS in an environment where to many are fighting for every ''bit'' of capacity in our often fragile broadband internet seem to thrive here! Thank you for the gold mine :) Cheers DiG Ask not what your broadband Telcos can do for you... ...but what you can do for your broadband community! ===========================================================Don Gould Unit 4 / 3 Conroy Street CBP Team Leader Maylands , Perth Bowenvale Communications WA 6051 www.bvc.com.au Australia Phone + 61 8 9371 7289 CBP Discussion can be found on Whirlpool here... http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-threads.cfm?f=51
