trouble with tc for SMTP in two provider set-up not obeying tcrules
I''m sure that I''m missing something here, or I''ve screwed something up, but my eyes can''t seem to find it. I''ve got two providers, and wanted outgoing mail to go via one. I set marks, devices, and tcrules, but SMTP traffic continues to go out the undesired interface. eth1 is also mark 1, my desired interface. However, SMTP traffic from this source still travels out the undesired interface, eth3. #MARK SOURCE DEST PROTO DEST SOURCE USER # PORT(S) PORT(S) 1:P 192.168.184.31 0.0.0.0/0 tcp 25 Thank you for your time and help. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Create and Deploy Rich Internet Apps outside the browser with Adobe(R)AIR(TM) software. All SMTP traffic originating from 192.168.184.31 is going out of eth1. *Incoming* SMTP connections on eth3 are being forwarded to 192.168.183.31 so you will certainly see SMTP traffic on eth3. -Tom -- Tom Eastep \ When I die, I want to go like my Grandfather who Shoreline, \ died peacefully in his sleep.
