I have just downloaded the shorewall 4.2.4-4 shorewall, shorewal-perl, and shell rpms from the invoca.ca site on to a Fedora 9 server. I did a yum localinstall shore* and all three were installed, but no /etc/shorewall6 directory. Also http://www.shorewall.net/IPV6Support.html URL does not exist. What did I miss? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace. I''m guessing that he hasn''t yet had time to build Shorewall6 RPMs.> I did a > yum localinstall shore* and all three were installed, but no > /etc/shorewall6 directory. > > Also http://www.shorewall.net/IPV6Support.html URL does not exist. >I don''t know where you got that URL but the correct one is http://www.shorewall.net/IPv6Support.html Note the lower-case "v". ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace. That is now fixed and you should see shorewall6-4.2.4-4.noarch.rpm and shorewall6-lite-4.2.4-4.noarch.rpm as expected. BTW, feedback on the Shorewall6 RPMs is welcome as I couldn''t really test them myself. I probably will not get back to this project until later today, but am looking forward to setting this up! Thanks for providing the rpms. Have you thought about maintaining this as a repo? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace. That may change in the future but no decision has been made how this could happen. Gee no big deal :) Thanks for making the rpms available they are such a time saver for the rest of us! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
