Hi, I am looking for a failover solution that would work toghether with shorewall multi isp setup http://www.shorewall.net/MultiISP.html I''m thinking of writing a daemon (in C?) that pings upstream default gateway (or configurable host) and when isp goes up/down, it executes scripts to add/remove the routes to ISP. Does anyone have such a solution already? What would be needed to integrate this with shorewall? so far it looks like I would need to refresh shorewall on up/down events, which is awfully slow. those routers does not run perl. (shorewall-lua rewrite anyone?) other ideas? -nc ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer''s challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/
