Dear all! We are a little team of junior developers with different skills. We have never had bigger project before, but all of us has some basic programming knowledge. We think we have a great* game idea. The question is: where to start?* Is it possible to develop* game with Ruby?* Does it have any "support" to make good *GUIs*? We read about this *OpenGL*. Is it also available *with Ruby?* Or is there anything istead of it? Is it a good idea to develop for* social sites such as Facebook?* (Or is it very hard for beginners? Is it true that it is possible to develop in Rails to FB?) *Where would you start?* (Some more info: 1 we would like to do for *more than one *platforms, 2 maybe later we would like to "translate it" to mobile platforms (iphone, android maybe) 3 maybe it will be open-source) We are quit beginners in this topic, every answer, link, tutorial, advice would be helpful! It''s an interesting question, but this list is supposed to be for discussion issues related to development of the Ruby on Rails framework. I think you''d have better results asking on a different list; I would suggest the Ruby-Talk list, linked here: http://www.ruby-lang.org/en/community/mailing-lists/ Best regards and good luck with your project, Norman On Tue, Jul 13, 2010 at 01:16, femto Zheng <femtowin@gmail.com> wrote:> maybe RUDL would be suitable. > http://rudl.sourceforge.net/ > > On Tue, Jul 13, 2010 at 6:08 AM, Zoltan As Developer > <zoltanasdeveloper@gmail.com> wrote: >> >> Dear all! >> We are a little team of junior developers with different skills. Hi, thanks for answers! I am really interested in the last questions: is it possible to develop in Rails to Facebook? Would you try this way, or you would try another one?
