bcamp1973 a écrit :> can someone quickly demonstrate the use of focusFirstElement() for me?

Er... In HTML:
<form id="frmMain"...>
...
</form>
In script:
$(''frmMain'').focusFirstElement();
Or does your question extend further?
http://prototypejs.org/api/form/focusFirstElement
Note that Prototype trunk incorporated my patch about this, which favors
tabindex order if present.
