Shorewall users - Aug 2005 - shorewall and openswan on fc3

i am trying to setup net-2-net vpn. using shorewall and openswan on fc3

after reading all the docs on shorewall and openswan i was more confused 
then ever.

shorewall docs indicate that a "Netfilter+ipsec" and "Policy
match"
patch needs to be applied for it (shorewall) to work properly when 
setting up built in ipsec stack. is that correct?
