with regards to RSS ver 2: 1) In the httpd.conf section for the SSL virtual host section, in the comments for the SSLCertificateFile entry it says a kill -HUP will force a prompt for the pass phrase. I''ve never been prompted for the pass phrase over the last several days while I have been tweaking the configuration. I must admit I''ve enjoyed not being prompted for each tweak, but I can also see this is a security whole. 2) I have several "insecure" virtual hosts setup on one IP address. I have one secure virtual host setup on a different IP address. For all the insecure hosts I can only access them with http:// - makes sense. For the one secure host I can access it via http:// or https://. I only want the secure host to respond to the https:// queries. What do I need to change in the httpd.conf file? With the exception of virtual hosts and minor changes, the httpd.conf file is the distribution file. I did change the _default_ in the SSL virtual host to be the secure host name. 3) Are there any quirks I need to watch for if I want to run multiple daemons on the same system, each with a different conf file?
