Hello, I had this issue before, and it was resolved by just installing ruby-shadow on the client. But this time, I already have ruby shadow installed, and still I''m getting error message: "Provider useradd does not support features manages_passwords; not managing attribute password" rpm -qa | grep ruby: ruby-libs-1.8.5-5.el5_4.8 ruby-shadow-1.4.1-1.el4.rf ruby-1.8.5-5.el5_4.8 This is a 64 bit system, I''m not sure if that makes a difference, but I''m throwing it out there just in case (CentOS release 5.4 (Final) Tikanga) Any ideas? Problem solved. The ruby-shadow rpm I had obtained wasn''t delivering the appropriate libraries to the x64 system. I recompiled the source rpm, and that did the trick. Everything works again. Thanks for the feedback.
