Hi All, maybe someone could shed some light on this for me. when puppetd is idle - i.e. in between puppet runs, it basically only waits and maybe in some configuration listen on a tcp port for puppet run. in all of my machines i have something similar to: 6142 root 15 0 0 28:20.21 4.9 *318m* *287m* 2580 S puppetd is there anything that I am missing here? (I know that its not all resident, some is shared etc but still). I''m really thinking about moving to cron and dumping the puppetrun services...
