Hello, I''m just setting up a new puppet server after managing one for a different company for 18 months. I''m using dlutter''s 0.24.4 packages for CentOS 5. Two questions so far: The best practice guide suggests having an additional module area for services, which I have created, but this appears not to be in my modulepath. Nor did /etc/puppet/manifests/modules until I hardwired it into /etc/puppet/manifests/puppet.conf under [puppetmasterd]. Where should this actually be set? Is anyone actually using services and users, per that guide, or just a main modules directory? On my puppet server, after creating a simple test class, and running puppetd, I notice that there was so certificate activity at all. Puppet just seemed to deploy the manifests. This seems unusual behaviour out of the box. What''s changed, or what am I doing wrong?
