Puppet users - Jun 2008 - Using addition in a puppet manifest

Hi,

May sound like a strange one, but I want to specify a range of ports
to open via iptables and just want to pass the base port, but would
then like to calculate the upper port of the multiport range.

I want to do something like $upperport = $baseport + 8

I get a message along the lines of Could not match ''+'' at
/etc/puppet/
manifests/blah.pp:146

You could probably make a Parser function to achieve this
