9.1-STABLE amd64 - Mounting from zfs:zroot failed with error 6

It's clearly a kernel issue, since booting the old kernel from r246246 it boots and mounts (with userland from r247150). A while ago there was a similar problem on the list ( http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-stable/2013-February/072398.html ), however the error was different.
