Hello listers, I and my class-mates intend to study the Ogg and Vorbis formats. Also we want to study and imprve upon or develop a wholly new, Ogg & Vorbis decoder for playing .ogg files. Kindly guide me into this. Please tell if there are any existing ogg decoders available for studying. The JOrbis team, has unfortunately been non-cooperative, with no replies despite a number of requests. Our project is basically to compare the Mp3 and Vorbis and to study and/or develop a decoder for vorbis. Hope for replies. thanks in anticipation - rahul -- MicroSoft is not the answer. MicroSoft is the question. No is the answer. Kind of a portable reference implementation usable on various embedded devices (portable or car stereo players) would be really really cool. As far as I understand many of the embedded CPUs don't have a fast floating point unit... --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'vorbis-dev-request@xiph.org' containing only the word 'unsubscribe' in the body.
