Hi, I have been trying to do an i386 cross build on RELENG_9 on an amd64 box for an embedded setup. A "make buildworld TARGET=i386" fails on the same source tree that a native amd64 build compiles. ===> usr.bin/kdump (depend) env CPP="cpp" sh /build/RELENG_9/src/usr.bin/kdump/mkioctls /usr/obj/i386.i386/build/RELENG_9/src/tmp/usr/include > ioctl.c *** [ioctl.c] Error code 1 Stop in /build/RELENG_9/src/usr.bin/kdump. *** [depend] Error code 1 Stop in /build/RELENG_9/src/usr.bin. *** [usr.bin.depend__D] Error code 1 Stop in /build/RELENG_9/src. *** [_depend] Error code 1 Stop in /build/RELENG_9/src. *** [buildworld] Error code 1 Stop in /build/RELENG_9/src. This works in RELENG_8 but has been failing on RELENG_9 for some time now. My last successfull crossbuild of i386 on amd64 was on May 15, 2012. Does above ring any bells with anyone ?
