A quick announcement, this version is not tested much, but at least it compiles, mounts and survives long enough to write this mail :) [There were problems with gcc-4.1, better go and use gcc-3.4] Location as usual: http://www.pci.uni-heidelberg.de/tc/usr/bernd/downloads/lustre/1.6/ Enjoy and report bugs to me, Bernd -- Bernd Schubert Q-Leap Networks GmbH
Bernd, can you explain problems with gcc-4.1? some time ago i work with port patchless client to RHEL5 (which uses 2.6.18 kernel and gcc-4.1) and don''t see any problems with gcc-4.1. But Goswin did run into the problems, he got i/o errors durings his'' tests. Recompiling with gcc-3.4 solved this. Well, I have to admit that those tests have been performed in xen-domaines.
