If you mount a tmpfs filesystem ontop of a Lustre root filesystem, that 
in of itself will not share the contents of the tmpfs filesystem with 
other nodes. You would have to nfs export /tmp if you wanted to share it 
between nodes or just let them use the /tmp directory on the Lustre root.
