Lustre discuss - Sep 2006 - LMT, the meaning of red

I''ve been successfully running lmt here with one 1.4.6 file system. Up
until
just recently I''ve never seen the color red used... Now, however, I
have red
(instead of black) as background color in the "ldlm_enqueue" field in
the MDS
part of the gui.

I restarted lmt and it went away. Then a few hours later it was back again.

Any ideas what this means? The filesystem seems to work just fine and no ugly 
error messages on the mds.

We see this effect (in various grid cells) and we assume
that this is a bug in the underlying gui libraries.
We''ve never taken time to track it down, so we just
ignore it.

 From experience, we know if an OSS or MDS or
portals router crashes, you''ll see valid red :)
