Lustre works equally well with SLES vs. RHEL, but the difference is you have to patch the Red Hat kernel, and you don''t have to patch the SLES kernel. We are working hard on eliminating the kernel patches by having included in the kernel what we can, and removing the dependency on what we cannot.
