[Lustre-devel] [Bug 11462] New: Add CONFIG_AUDITFILESYSTEM=y to our kernel config
Please don''t reply to lustre-devel. Instead, comment in Bugzilla by using the following link: https://bugzilla.lustre.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11462 Sandia has requested CONFIG_AUDITFILESYSTEM=y be set in our kernel configuration, so that we match Red Hat. The lack of this option is causing an issue at Sandia. (RT 27837) This option was unset when we updated the RHEL 4 kernels on 12/12/05, however there is no explanation available - why did we diverge? Given that auditing in general may impact file system performance, I would suggest we test prior to making this change.
