I am copying to r-devel, because RXLisp is a reasonably complicated package that uses both dylibs and bundles. I am pleased to say that XLisp from R now works on Jaguar, complete with graphics (these did not work before, because I was actually running an old version of XLISP-STAT -- sic transit gloria mundi). The other way around is still trouble: I get > (load "inXLisp") ; loading inXLisp.lsp Error: dlcompat: unable to find symbol "Rmodule__init" in "/usr/local/lib/R/library/RXLisp/libs/RinXLisp.so" Happened in: #<Byte-Code-Closure-SHARED-LIBRARY-INFORMATION: #3ab778> ==Jan de Leeuw; Professor and Chair, UCLA Department of Statistics; Editor: Journal of Multivariate Analysis, Journal of Statistical Software US mail: 9432 Boelter Hall, Box 951554, Los Angeles, CA 90095-1554 phone (310)-825-9550; fax (310)-206-5658; email: deleeuw@stat.ucla.edu homepage: http://gifi.stat.ucla.edu ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------- No matter where you go, there you are. --- Buckaroo Banzai http://gifi.stat.ucla.edu/sounds/nomatter.au ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------- -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- r-devel mailing list -- Read http://www.ci.tuwien.ac.at/~hornik/R/R-FAQ.html Send "info", "help", or "[un]subscribe" (in the "body", not the subject !)
