Looks like someone or something turned off the machine that runs the
bugs.r-project.org website on Sunday (a glance at my floor seems to
disprove the hypothesis that the cleaners did it...). Physically
turning it on this morning seems to have normalized things. The email
interface runs on another machine and was unaffected.
