Hi, as some of you already might know I am the packager for KDE (PIM) on Maemo 5 http://techbase.kde.org/Projects/Mobile/MaemoPackages and also for enterprise 5 for Debian http://saegewerk.intevation.org/kdepim-enterprise5-sid/. Enterprise 5 is KDE PIM based completely on Akonadi which hopefully will be included in KDE SC 4.5.1. At the moment I create weekly packages from svn trunk for testing. Yesterday we changed our kdelibs and kdebase-runtime sources also to pre 4.5 versions and thus I have to change my packages accordingly. In my opinion it would be very sad if the package development has to be done twice and I would be really glad if I could contribute to Debian. For that reason I would like to ask if it would be possible to join our actions? Would it be possible to get access to your svn/git repos or to define some process to sync the packages? My package descriptions can be found at http://websvn.kde.org/branches/kdepim/enterprise/packaging/debian/sid/ which is not the best solution. Sometimes I did miss package changes in Debian and my packages weren''t installable or usable then. And of course the packages contained some misstakes because they didn''t get revied by some experienced maintainers. Therefore I see many advantages to maintain all packages in Debian. There might have been some misunderstandings in the past. We at Intevation (and also KDAB) don''t want to bypass your work in Debian and provide our own self brewed stuff (I heard some rumors about that). It is and was always our highest interest to provide our work to the public and to work in the free software community.
