when I run gtk-demo and any other gtk based application it told me: No fonts found; this probably means that the fontconfig library is not correctly configured. You may need to edit the fonts.conf configuration file. More information about fontconfig can be found in the fontconfig(3) manual page and on http://fontconfig.org what i am missing. I had seen a screenshot of gtk running on your web page. Please help me. -- Thanks & Regards, Mohammed Rashad K.M http://keralainfo.web4all.in/ +919496620801 -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... > when I run gtk-demo and any other gtk based applicationOn what platform? Presumably not any normal Linux desktop at least, because if no fonts would be found by gtk-demo, surely your Linux desktop would not really work very well otherwise either? So is this Windows? In that case, fontconfig is not involved by gtk, and the error message is misleading. Or what? --tml
