I have a fairly comprehensive set of tests for my code, however, when my tests report an error it still takes a fair amount of time to track down the problem. It occured to me that it would be very nice to be able to run a supervisor routine that could request an object be returned by an R calculation on a different machine (different platform and/or different R version) and compare the results. Has anyone considered this? It would certainly speed up the testing cycle. Perhaps I could even trace back and narrow down the problem automatically.
