Bug#588872: adduser: deluser --remove-all-files: should skip /dev when searching owned files
Package: adduser Version: 3.112 Severity: wishlist Hello. deluser --remove-all-files oucputs a huge number of lines like usr/sbin/deluser: Cannot handle special file /dev/input/event1 It would maybe be more efficient and less verbose if it avoided scanning /dev, /proc and so on. Even if ever deleting the root account, we will avoid --remove-all-files. -- System Information: Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages adduser depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.32 Debian configuration management sy ii passwd 1:4.1.4.2-1 change and administer password and ii perl-base 5.10.1-13 minimal Perl system Versions of packages adduser suggests: ii liblocale-gettext-perl 1.05-6 Using libc functions for internati ii perl-modules 5.10.1-13 Core Perl modules -- debconf information: adduser/homedir-permission: true
